Texas Joe holding a Minarik Guitar
(such a beautiful masterpiece). These
guitars., quite possibly, might be the future stradovarious guitars of our
time! In fact, these guitars make your
eyes pop! Amazing attention to every exquisite detail, ornate abalone
inlay and tough solid workmanship make up these wonderful guitars. They are a sight to see and simply make you
want to rock!!
Amazing looks, great performance, and easy on the wallet!!!
Mark Minarik was a very nice guy to talk to, as well as his father, Mr.
Minarik, who was a great person to talk to!
They are very down-to-earth people with an amazing eye for detail and
tone on their guitars...very, very nice guitars, indeed! Watch out; these guys are going to take a
hold of the guitar market for certain!
During the sessions for our new double album(Landing Amongst the Giant
Mushrooms)..Noe Valles bassist for Valles Flying Machine, expiremented with a
new bass rig..consisting of a 300 watt vintage trace elliot bass head made in
england ..running through a very very rare 4x12 marshall cabinet loaded with
celestion 100 watt speakers...these cabinets are known as the “Iron Maiden”
..cabinets .(due to Steve Harris..) or the Billy Gibbons of ZZ top
cabinets...for it is rumored that in the 1980's both bands requested Marshall
make a 4 x12 cabinet loaded with bigger 100 watt celestions..and the valles
flying machine ..seems to have gotten lucky and gotten its hands on one of
these cabinets for use on our album..these marshall cabs are said to be very
rare...trace elliot 300 watt head sits
on top of the 400 watt marshall 4x12 cabinet...
The other rig is a vintage 50 watt bass head (all tube el 34's).....the
head is maintained by Bill Webb of ...luthertronix/fulton webb
amplifiers..out of Austin, Texas....Bill is responsible for the up keep of
all the Valles Brothers vintage amps...he works on eric johnson's ..ace
frehley..and bob dylans gear also.from time to time....the old marshall 50
watt bass head..is ...on top of a very beat up 4x12 marshall cabinet from the
early 90's loaded with 75 watt celestion speakers...this set up gives Noe Valles and the Valles Flying Machine's
new album a very ..Lemmy Kilmister.. of Hawkwind and Motorhead fame ..style
tone..!!! And then some !
Notice 1976 Rick 4001 bass and also 1967 fender tele bass..!!!!
